Welcome to the world's most innovative boots: Mercurial 360. The first Nike product ever gives you the fly around the entire foot, eliminating the need for a traditional soleplate. Ladies and gentlemen, Syperfly VI and Nike Vapor XII meet.
For 20 years, ike has produced Mercurial boots for the fastest players in the football world with experimental and game-changing innovations. Mercurial 360 is based on the proud tradition with a 360 construction that will soon be available on Nike footwear across other sports. First of all, this technology will give Nike superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr. the fastest boots ever.
In the occasion of Mercurial's 20th anniversary, Nike has given Mercurial 360 a clean design a Swoosh on the forefoot of the Orange Debut Coloring. And since Mercurial players tend to be some of the fastest players in the world, Nike has added a "M" on the heel, which is the last defense player sees when a Mercurial player blows past them.
Even though the defenders may be afraid, we simply can not wait to see the new Mercurials on the pitch! But hold on and let's get a little wiser on the technologies behind these beauties.
Like with so many other Nike boots, the focus is on Nike Mercurial Superfly and Vapor 360 fit, touch and traction. However, Nike has this time made major changes on the drawing board, and Mercurial 360 is already a strong candidate for this year's boot in 2018.
On Mercurial Superfly 360, Nike has changed Dynamic Fit Collar (which is in itself the difference between the two boots) to a lower version, similar to the one you've seen Ronaldo prefer the most recent seasons. Both Superfly and Vapor 360 consist of a soft one-piece material that makes them minimalist and streamlined.
The fit is the foundation of speed. If the fit is not on point, it does not matter how innovative a pair of soccer boots are. If only the foot slides 1 mm inside the boot, even speed can damage. This is absolutely no problem in the new Mercurial thanks to Nikes game-changing 360 construction made possible by Flyknit technology. This innovation simply clings to the foot and eliminates the gap between the foot and the soleplate.
Nike has placed buttons under the forehead and heel for optimum traction. The buds are 'less like a hoof, and more like a claw', and Nike's inspiration comes from the smooth cheetah. And the further developed underfoot is more than just a visual wonder. Just ask Cristiano Ronaldo.
Last but not least, Mercurial 360 gives a softer touch to the ball, though it can still fight the elements of nature. This is due to Nike All Conditions Control (ACC), which was previously placed on the Flyknit product, creating a thin layer. ACC is now embedded in the creation of Flyknit material, eliminating the extra layer without compromising performance. All in all, Mercurial 360 is so streamlined clean, and at Unisport HQ we can not wait to see CR7 and NJR glasses in Nikes masterpiece.......
